Making the Scene Again At the Geffen

The curtain rises this month on another season of family fun at the Geffen Playhouse's Saturday Scene. This year's lineup offers an impressive slate of acclaimed and award-winning acts.

The opening show, Ooooogy Green And Other Fables (Oct. 3) is the Celebration Theater's colorful story of a caterpillar's adventures. Giant puppets take over the stage on Oct. 10 for Crayon Court, while the Actors' Gang comical Cymbeline The Puppet King holds court Oct. 17 and Childsplay Theater's Ferdinand The Bull charges in Oct. 30.

Saturday Scene fans can sign up for a ticket package (starting at $48) for the season, which runs through May.
