Parenting Classes

After-School Social Skills Group offers kids a variety of activities that will help them develop social skills in a fun and supportive environment. Groups are available for all ages from 5 and older. FasTrack Signing Workshop by Signing Smart™ is a series of ongoing 3-hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays for parents and caretakers who will learn techniques and methods of basic signing. Healthy Eating Lifestyle Program is an ongoing, 5-session nutritional and exercise workshop at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. The program is designed to help families with kids who are at risk for being overweight. Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic provide quality mental health services to children ages 0-25 and their caregivers by ensuring easy access and promoting early intervention. Engaging parents as equal partners, the clinic works to develop and implement intervention and treatment plans for children – especially sensitive to different cultures. Mariposa Women and Family Center offers a variety of classes, workshops and support groups for families including parenting classes (English and Spanish), a childrens’ grief group and mother and daughter relationship group.
