L.A. Parent strives to reach out to the community as much as possible through special events and outings. L.A. Parent sponsored the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (www.komenlacounty.org) on March 15 at the Pasadena Rose Bowl. We often sponsor the nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific (www.aquariumofpacific.org) during its annual Halloween event, which draws thousands of attendees. Aside from various community events, the editors are often invited to speak to media and at various moms' groups and community events.
