Celebrations of all sorts and sizes will light up the skies this Fourth of July. Here is a sampling of more than a dozen fireworks shows around Southern California, plus eight great non-fireworks Fourth festivities. Events are on July 4 unless otherwise noted.

4th of July Community Fireworks Festival, 4:30-9:30 p.m., CBS Studio Center, 4024 Radford Ave., Studio City.
